Kohama Island Mangrove Tour

First, we received a briefing from our guide at the entrance to the mangrove forest, and then we ventured deeper into the woods. We were able to take our time observing rare plants and creatures, such as crabs, that you don’t usually see in everyday life, making it a truly fascinating experience. The guide was very knowledgeable, and we were able to feel the power of nature firsthand. I think this is a wonderful tour that people of all ages can enjoy.

It was nice that they took us to the best spots for seeing mangroves, but there were so many people that it felt a bit rushed. The complimentary photos were a nice touch, but the image quality was just average. Overall, it felt like a casual experience that was worth the price—neither great nor bad.

Since even 3-year-olds could participate, our family set out on a mangrove exploration. Our child was thrilled to see the subtropical plants and creatures, such as crabs, from the kayak. The guide took the utmost care to ensure our child’s safety, so as parents, we were able to relax and fully enjoy nature.

The guide took us to the best spots, and we were able to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding amidst the stunning scenery. The guide was very courteous, and the photos we received made for a great keepsake. The shuttle service was also a big help.

The mangrove scenery was exactly what we were hoping for. Kayaking was fun, too, and we really got to enjoy nature.

I took part in a mangrove exploration tour with my child. At first, my child was a little scared, but the guide was very kind and supportive, and my child had a great time spotting lots of wildlife. It’s easily accessible from Kohama Island, making it perfect for a family trip.
