*Please note that all snorkelers and swimmers must be in good physical and mental health, and those over 65 years of age, those with a history of breathing or circulatory problems, or those taking strong medications must submit a medical certificate from a physician.

*At least 1 liter of water per person is required in the summer.

Q. What do you do with the fish you catch?

It is possible to eat at a tavern in Kohama Island at dinner time!

Reservations are difficult to obtain during peak season, so please make your own reservations and confirm in advance whether or not you can bring your own fish. The captain will deliver the fish to your designated tavern after the tour.

We refrain from over-keeping to protect future fish and resources. We appreciate your cooperation.

Q. Are there toilets on the ship?

Restrooms are available for women and children.

I’d never gone fishing before, but since we had the place all to ourselves, my friends and I had a blast just hanging out and having fun lol. They lent us all the gear, so we didn’t have to bring a thing, and the guide was really nice—we actually caught some fish (lol). That night, we got to eat the fish we caught ourselves at an izakaya—it was seriously an amazing experience!

After meeting up at the harbor, we boarded the boat and were taken to a beautiful fishing spot. At first, we didn’t catch much, but once we changed spots, the fish started biting one after another—it was a lot of fun. In the evening, we went to a recommended izakaya, where they prepared the fish we’d caught as sashimi and fried fish, and it was absolutely delicious.

I went on this trip with my husband. Since we had the boat all to ourselves, the two of us were able to spend some special time together, leisurely enjoying the fishing. That evening, the fish we caught were prepared for us at an izakaya, and raising a toast together made for a wonderful memory. It’s great that you can freely plan your fishing schedule with a private charter. It’s hassle-free since equipment rental is included. The process of having the fish you catch cooked for you at an izakaya that evening is also very smooth. However, the sea breeze was quite strong that day, so it would have been perfect if the pre-trip information had included a brief recommendation to bring a windbreaker.

We had such a great experience on a different tour with you last time that we decided to book this fishing package this time around. The view from the boat was absolutely stunning, and I ended up taking so many photos that I completely forgot about fishing. Since we had the boat all to ourselves, it was great to be able to take pictures without worrying about anyone else. We arrived at Kohama Island a day late due to a typhoon, but since it was a half-day charter, they were flexible with the time and we were able to participate in my son's dream of fishing. It was raining, but the waves were calm when we went out to the sea, and we were able to catch fish thanks to the many points of interest! We also saw sea turtles and sea snakes in between. Next time, I would like to try a full day charter to catch bigger fish.
