*Please note that all snorkelers and swimmers must be in good physical and mental health, and those over 65 years of age, those with a history of breathing or circulatory problems, or those taking strong medications must submit a medical certificate from a physician.

*Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and can get wet or dirty.

*At least 1 liter of water per person is required in the summer.

Q. What do you do with the fish you catch?

It is possible to eat at a tavern in Kohama Island at dinner time!

Reservations are difficult to obtain during peak season, so please make your own reservations and confirm in advance whether or not you can bring your own fish. The captain will deliver the fish to your designated tavern after the tour.

We refrain from over-keeping to protect future fish and resources. We appreciate your cooperation.

Q. Are there toilets on the ship?

Restrooms are available for women and children.

It was the perfect choice—all the gear was provided, so we could go empty-handed. It was so much fun to just hang out and fish together!

It’s great that you can freely plan your fishing schedule with a private charter. It’s hassle-free since equipment rental is included. The process of having the fish you catch cooked for you at an izakaya that evening is also very smooth. However, the sea breeze was quite strong that day, so it would have been perfect if the pre-trip information had included a brief recommendation to bring a windbreaker.

I was able to enjoy fishing with a half-day charter. Even a beginner could catch fish, so it was good. However, the sun was very strong, so it would have been helpful if the boat had a little more awning.

We arrived at Kohama Island a day late due to a typhoon, but since it was a half-day charter, they were flexible with the time and we were able to participate in my son's dream of fishing. It was raining, but the waves were calm when we went out to the sea, and we were able to catch fish thanks to the many points of interest! We also saw sea turtles and sea snakes in between. Next time, I would like to try a full day charter to catch bigger fish.
