What is Minamikazehana Beach (Utah Beach)?

This beach is located in the south of Kohama Island. It is more like a tidal flat than a beach, and at low tide it dries up to become a rocky beach.

The ocean has a bay-like topography, so the waves and tides are calm, but on the other hand, the water is shallow, so it is good for playing by the water, but it may not be suitable for snorkeling.

Minamikaze Beach on Kohama Island

This may be a good place to relax and enjoy your time off-season, listening to the sound of waves without being disturbed by anyone! The beach faces south and there is no shade, so be sure to take precautions against the heat (sun)!
