In fact, of the many marine tourism operators in Okinawa Prefecture, only about 3 percent (roughly 3 out of 100 companies) have obtained “Maru-Yu” certification.

To receive “Maru-Yu” certification,Passed rigorous screening and on-site inspections by local policeIt is necessary to do so, and the following stringent safety management system is mandatory.

• Assignment of Qualified Personnel(Professional staff, such as certified guides and lifeguards, are on site at all times)

• Thorough Implementation of Safety Equipment and Facilities(Ensuring that life jackets are worn at all times, keeping AEDs and other lifesaving equipment on hand, etc.)

• Emergency Support System(Establishing a Rapid Communication and Rescue System to Prepare for Emergencies)

There are only a limited number of businesses in Okinawa Prefecture that have obtained this certification. Whether you’re new to marine activities or traveling with children, please feel free to participate with confidence.

The ship's restrooms are used in conjunction with the changing rooms, so you can change your clothes.

Ship facilities include simple showers (water), toilets, and changing rooms (also used as restrooms) so that you can change and disembark when you disembark.

Kohama Port can be reached in about 30 minutes by ferry departing from Ishigaki Port Remote Islands Terminal.

Even those who can swim may suddenly have a seizure, and we believe it is necessary to ensure their safety.

Each boat is equipped with a toilet. The toilet is used differently than usual, using seawater for flushing and all dumping is done underwater, so toilet paper should be thrown in the trash. (Detailed instructions on how to use these toilets will be provided at the time of your tour.)

We also rent masks (one size only) with prescription (limited to those with less than 0.1 vision).
