Phantom Island (Hamashima)

The "Phantom Island" tour from Kohama Island was truly a wonderful experience! It only took about 10 minutes by boat to arrive at the island, and I was impressed by the expanse of white sandy beach and the beautiful colors of the ocean. Everywhere we looked the view was spectacular and we couldn't stop taking pictures. There is no age limit, so the whole family can participate without worries, especially for small children and the elderly. The staff was very kind and made us feel comfortable. It was also convenient that we could participate with nothing in hand, and I would definitely visit again!

Since my daughter was still small, we chose the landing plan instead of snorkeling or diving! As the name suggests, the island seems to appear only at low tide, so we were happy to see something very rare. We used this hotel on a weekday for our honeymoon. We met in the afternoon and enjoyed the conversation with our handsome guide, who was calm but humorous. We were very happy that we had a little private time with him due to good timing. I think you will have a more fulfilling time if you decide how you want to spend your time because it is really free. Kohama Island Tours is not a bad thing, but I think it would have been more photogenic if the sun was blue instead of orange (or the schedule) if I wanted.

I participated in this tour with my 3-year-old child and my mother and father who had reached the age of 60. I had always wanted to visit the island, but most of the tours included diving and snorkeling, and I had given up on the idea when I found this tour.
