About Kohama Island Folk Museum
Located on the west side of the village in the central part of Kohama Island, this museum provides information on the history and culture of Kohama Island.
Inside, about 250 items are on display, including masks and costumes used in events, old folk tools, and hatanori weaving machines.
Even when no one is available, visitors are free to enter the museum by putting the admission fee in the box provided.
There are no signs on the road, so it may be a little difficult to find.
Admission is 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
Open 9:00-17:00 (May-October: ~18:00), closed irregularly.
