Reference Schedule

	Contents
(i)	Pick up at your accommodation We will ask you where you are staying for the day when you make your reservation, and we will pick you up at the front desk of your accommodation.
(2)	Move to the observation site (about 10 minutes). After picking up everyone with reservations, we will move to the most suitable spot depending on the weather and season of the day. (Each spot is about 10 minutes away).
(iii)	Stargazing (about 60 minutes) Upon arrival at the observation site, you will lay down on a sheet and view the stars of Yaeyama while lying down. Our staff will introduce the stars in an easy-to-understand manner for about 30 minutes, focusing on the stars that match the time of year you are participating in the tour. The rest of the time will be free time for you to enjoy.
4)	Pick-up and payment (10 minutes) After the star gazing tour, we will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation. Please make payment after the tour.

The guide's explanation of the constellations was very easy to understand, and I was completely drawn into the world of the night sky. The included transportation made me feel safe traveling at night. However, the sky was a bit cloudy at times, so it was a shame we couldn't see all the stars. Still, it was a very fulfilling experience.

I was truly moved by the beauty of the starry sky. The guide’s explanation of the constellations was easy to understand, and I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet nighttime stroll. However, since it felt a little chilly at night, I think it would be helpful if there were an announcement in advance advising people to bring something to wear over their clothes.

First, on the shuttle ride, we listened to fascinating stories about Kohama Island’s nighttime nature, and upon arriving at the observation site, we were deeply moved by the natural planetarium stretching as far as the eye could see. Next, a certified guide used a laser pointer to carefully explain each seasonal constellation and star name one by one, making it a wonderful experience that truly satisfied our intellectual curiosity… Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this deeply healing experience.
