Q. Are showers available?

Basically, we ask that you shower on your own after returning to your accommodations. (In many cases, showers are available after check-out at each hotel.)
If you are a day-tripper and would like to take a shower after the tour, we can take you to a shower on the island (free or charged) according to where you will be sent afterwards, although the tour time will be a little shorter. Please indicate your preference in the remarks column at the time of application.

Q. Do you have changing rooms?

There will be no changing rooms, so please dress appropriately for wet weather at the meeting!

Q. What should I do with my valuables during the tour?

You can leave it in the car and take it to the beach at your own risk, as we will be there with the car locked up!
Please be assured that this is a remote island with a population of 700 and is basically a very safe place to live.

We were blessed with good weather, but most importantly, the guide's cheerful and positive guidance was effective and all 8 of us enjoyed the SUP. I was a complete beginner to sap and not confident in my swimming skills, so I was anxious to sign up for the tour. The guide was very friendly and had a smile on his face from the time he picked us up at our hotel. He set us up at the best point considering the direction of the wind, safety, and our ability and physical strength because a typhoon was approaching. We had a very enjoyable time, going out to sea and doing sap yoga without being bothered by other people because it was a private tour.

I was looking for a sap activity in Kohama Island and found Seina's sap activity and joined it. The private tour took us to a recommended area with few tourists, and we were the only ones there to enjoy the sap! Since we were staying at Hoshino Resort, we were wondering whether we should join the sap activity in Hoshino Resort or not, but we chose Seyna's activity because of her personality which was overflowing from her Instagram and it was great. She took our pictures and gave priority to what we wanted to do. I highly recommend this tour to couples and those who want to play at their own pace without worrying about other travelers!

The guide was really warm and wonderful and allowed us to have a SUP experience in a safe area where we could get our feet under us for our younger children. Since it was a private SUP experience just for our family, my eldest daughter enjoyed picking up shells and my son took pictures of the sunset over Iriomote Island. It was also great that we could immediately receive the photos and videos taken by the guide, as we had fewer opportunities to take pictures as a family as our older children got older.
